Manila: Homecoming reunion of former Rogationist seminarians

Alumni of the Rogationist Seminary in Manila had a homecoming reunion at Father Hannibal Formation Center in Merville, Paranaque on November 26-27, 2022 with the theme: Rogationist Fraternity: Companions in the Journey, Partners in the Mission. The two-day affair was facilitated by Fr. John Lucas, Vicar Provincial and Councilor for the Laity, in collaboration with the Rogationist seminary formators and other Confreres. Fr. Orville Cajigal, Superior of the St. Matthew Province also offered his reflections to the alumni.

The program included ordinary seminary activities such as prayer, recreation, and house chores, all aimed at reliving their seminary experiences. On the second day, the group elected its officers and discussed together concrete ways to live out the charism of the Rogate in their current states of life and planned out concrete endeavors for the promotion of vocations and the support of the seminarians and the Province. The Seminary alumni are now professionals in their respective fields, and some of them diocesan priests, government officials, and academics in universities.
