Opening of the Process of the Cause for the Beatification of Fr. Joseph Aveni

The Diocese of Parañaque transferred the celebration of the Day of Consecrated Life today, February 1, 2020, since the proper day falls on a Sunday. Most Rev. Jesse Mercado, DD, Bishop of Parañaque also have chosen this day as the Official Opening of the Process of the Cause for the Beatification and Canonization of the Servant of God, Fr. Joseph Aveni. Confreres from different communities and other members of the Family of the Rogate participated in this event – together with the Consecrated Persons within the Diocese, during which they witnessed the Oath Taking of the members of the Tribunal for the said Process, at the National Shrine of the Mary Help of Christians in Betterliving, Parañaque City.
