Father Di Francia Center of Studies Community hosted an Advent Recollection for this year 2022. Bro. Arnel Tordesillas, a former rogationist novice, facilitated the moment of reflection and sharing.
In his sharing, Bro Arnel raised the question on how to prepare this season of Advent amidst the atmosphere of capitalism and commercialism that haunts the celebration of Christmas today. To answer it, he reflected on the Gospels for the four Sundays of Advent.
First Sunday - magnilay sa mga nagaganap at mensahe ng Panginoon
Second Sunday-Ihanda ang daraanan ng Panginoon/ Ayusin ang pamumuhay
Third Sunday- Saya ng pakikipagkapwa
Fourth Sunday - Maglingkod
He then challenged us by saying “Let your light shine. You are the light. You must shine. To shine means ‘God wants you to be good, to be happy, to be successful and to be holy.”
The Sacrament of Reconciliation and a simple merienda concluded the recollection.
