Canonical Visit to the Missionary Station of Indonesia

Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ the Provincial Superior did his Canonical Visit to the Missionary Station in Maumere, Indonesia on November 12-19, 2019. During this Canonical Visit, Fr. Cajigal had the opportunity to encounter the community and the individual religious comprising the mission. He also held a meeting with the seminarians and the collaborators.
With Fr. Elmer Dula, RCJ, Responsible of the Missionary Station of Indonesia, Fr. Cajigal also had the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to the Bishop of the Diocese of Maumere, His Excellency Ewaldus Martinus Sedu, D.D., at the Office of the Bishop at Keuskupan, Jl. Wairklau, Keturahan Kota Uneng, Maumere, Flores.
Among the highlights of the event was the simple celebration of the 15th Foundation Anniversary of the Rogationists’ presence and service in Indonesia. During the Holy Mass, presided over by Fr. Cajigal, there was the Institution of Bro. Silvester Yohanes Kennedy, RCJ in the Ministry of Acolyte and of Bro. Nikolaus Wangge, RCJ in the Ministry of Lector.
May St. Hannibal and the patron saints of Indonesia constantly intercede for this mission.
