Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun, RCJ
4 July 2021

Yesterday, July 4, 2021, the St. Matthew Province (SMP) accepted 5 postulants to the Novitiate - three (3) in the Philippines and two (2) in Vietnam, where an ad hoc Novitiate House has just been established, with its own ad hoc Novice Master, in the person of Fr. Joseph Nguyen Truong Thinh, RCJ. The Circumscription, in the Eucharistic Liturgy, presided over by Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, the Provincial Superior, at the Oasis of Prayer in Silang, Cavite, also received the First Profession of the Vows of seven (7) novices, plus two (2) from the Our Lady of Guadalupe (USA) Delegation.
This day marked, as well, the last day of Fr. Ulyses Angus, RCJ as the SMP Novice Master, with Fr. Ariel Tecson, RCJ assuming the post, after a long period of prayer and discernment. The event, which was livestreamed on Facebook, was physically witnessed by relatives, friends, benefactors and confreres, who gathered, observing the prescribed health protocols. (Face masks were removed for picture taking purposes alone.) May the Lord of the Harvest continue to bless his vineyard with many and holy laborers!
