First Religious Profession and Entrance to the Novitiate

Today, on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, June 29, the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus – St. Matthew Province rejoices to receive, for the first time, the religious vows of 12 Novices, and to admit 10 Postulants for the Novitiate in a solemn Eucharistic celebration held at the Oasis of Prayer, Silang, Cavite.

The Provincial Superior, Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, led the Rites and the Holy Mass at 10:00AM, concelebrated by priest-confreres, and attended by some guests. All of them observed the prescribed social distancing during the liturgy. The celebration was likewise covered through a livestreaming that was posted in the Facebook page “Rogate Media SMP.”

The newly professed brothers are Brothers Paolo Alinojan, Cyrone Bañares, Luis Manuel Canlas, Joseph Ha, John Baptist Tam, Venus Lapiña, Peter Luc, Augustine Nhien, Peter Thinh, Francis Xavier Trung, Fransiskus Xaverius Rangga, and Gervasius Setu.

The newly accepted Novices are Noe Agpalsa, Clifford Crisostomo, Juan Reyes Cruz, James Tung, Louis Do, Andres Gorres, Jr., Wilibrodus Jebatu, Armando Nicolas Lazaro Manzo, Leo Jane Ricaborda, and Hacel Taroma.

Let us pray for these brothers, so that they may follow Jesus Christ, who is poor, chaste, and obedient, according to the ideals of St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia, Apostle of Prayer for Vocations.
