Kaya Idalangin November 2020 ISSUE: "Rogate... A Great Universal Remedy"
Provincial Rogate Vocation Center (PRVC)
27 Oct 2020

In this month of November, we shall be preparing ourselves for the celebration of the Solemnity of Christ the King, which is the conclusion of our liturgical year.
At the same time, we begin preparing for Christmas, as the Advent begins a week after. Yet, both of these convey a message that we are called to ponder: Christ, who is King of the Universe, has a rightful place in our hearts and in our communities. His person and message is our response to secular values.
To usher Christ today, we need the increase of priests and religious who can lead us to and gather us around Him. That is why, according to St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia, the "Rogate" becomes a great universal remedy: a remedy that can transform a society into a committed society that worships God and serves Him in the faces of the people, especially the least, the last, and the lost.
It is then our duty, as Christians, to make sure that Christ continues living today by praying for the increase of priests and religious.
