In line with the celebration of the 56th World Day of Prayer for Vocations, the Youth Ministry of the Our Lady of the Pillar Parish in Bolinao, Pangasinan organized the Rogate Voc Jam last May 10-12, 2019, which was a three-day youth camp filled with youthful activities and prayer. There were more than 125 young people from the mission areas who participated. To inspire the campers, they invited three speakers from the Rogationist seminary and a brother from the Diocese of Alaminos who shared their wisdom on their vocation journey linking it to the 56th WDPV’s theme, "The Courage to take a risk for God’s Promise”. The speakers were Sem. Cris John Pascua, an incoming grade 12 student in FHFC, Bro. John Mart Presores, RCJ an incoming second-year theology from FDFCS, Bro. Efren Abad from the Diocese of Alaminos, and Rev. JR Arreza, RCJ. Each day of the camp, Fr. Bong Dammay, the Parish Priest celebrates the Holy Mass together with the campers and followed by the adoration presided by Rev. JR. Even though it was raining during the last night, still the campers were enjoying showing their talents in singing and dancing. Then during the Sunday Mass with all the parishioners, Fr. Bong Dammay expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated and helped in realizing the Rogate Voc Jam 2019. This serves as the culmination of the celebration.
