Perpetual Profession and Renewal of Vows in the St. Matthew Province

Today, eight Brothers made their perpetual profession of vows last July 5, 2021, on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia. Held at the Holy Spirit Chapel in Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies, San Dionisio, Parañaque City, the Provincial Superior Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, received their profession through a Rite, together with the renewal of vows of the 25 Religious students.

While observing the safety protocols to avoid transmission of the COVID-19 virus, a good number of confreres, friends, and visitors came to witness the wonderful event. Others, especially the friends and relatives of the religious students, joined the live broadcast on the Facebook Page, “Rogate Media SMP.”

In the homily of Fr. Orville, he made emphasis of the mercy and love of God which is a great grace that sets an impetus for a Religious’ willingness and commitment to profess and live the evangelical counsels, especially in the Rogationist way of life.

A sumptuous meal was served later for everyone after the Holy Mass. The place was filled with gladness and joy, seeing the brothers who persevered to live faithfully their religious consecration. Thereafter, Confreres, too, shared their joy with the brothers who made their perpetual profession. Through this event, indeed, God has again showed his goodness and faithfulness to the people who desired to live the religious way of life, leading towards perfect charity.

(During the celebration, the prescribed health protocols were observed. Face masks were removed for picture taking purposes alone.)
