Rogate Center Facilitates 58th WDPV Triduum and Celebration

The Rogate Center of the St. Matthew Province facilitated the online triduum of preparation and the celebration of the 58th World Day of Prayer for Vocations, inspired by the theme of the Pope's message: "St. Joseph: The Dream of Vocation."

The Triduum of Preparation for the 58th WDPV began from April 22-24, featuring infographics, testimonies and witnessing, some materials on prayer for vocations composed by St. Hannibal, especially the intercessory prayer to St. Joseph for vocations, which he composed, and a set of livestreamed Holy Masses. The themes for each day are as follows: the first day was about "DREAMS," followed by "SERVICE" on the 2nd day, and "FIDELITY" on the last day. Notable on the 3rd day of Triduum was the second part of the conference jointly organized by the Pastoral Institute for Vocation Ministry (PIVM) and the University of Perpetual Help System-DALTA, Las Piñas Campus (UPHSD-LP). It featured several testimonies from various walks of life: religious, married life, professional life, parish, and youth ministry. Later evening, an Easter reflection on Discipleship was delivered by Fr. Ulrich Gacayan, RCJ, hosted at the Oasis of Prayer in Silang, Cavite.

On the celebration of the 58th WDPV, that is, April 25, which was the Fourth Sunday of Easter, a Holy Mass was hosted at the Oasis of Prayer in Silang, Cavite. Then, the Provincial Superior, Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, delivered a pre-recorded message on the celebration itself, noting the importance of praying for vocations in the life of the Church and of the society. To conclude the celebration, the St. Hannibal Mary Discernment Center in Iloilo, in partnership with the Directors for Vocations in the Philippines (DVP) in the Archdiocese of Jaro, facilitated the livestreaming of Vespers and concluded it with the Eucharistic Adoration for Vocations.
