Three SMP Religious Students' Send-Off to Italy

After prayerful dialogue, discernment and preparations, three young religious students - Bro. Joseph Ho Van Ha, RCJ (Vietnamese), Bro. Venus Lapiña, RCJ (Filipino), and Bro. Fransiskus Xaverius Rangga, RCJ (Indonesian) - of the St. Matthew Province were conferred their mission cross, during the Mission Send Off Rite presided over by Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, Provincial Superior on July 17, 2021.

They will be joining the International Religious Student Residence in Rome, Italy, where Fr. Ronaldo Masilang, RCJ was sent a few months earlier to be a Formator. The rite was incorporated in the morning mass at the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center, which was presided over by Fr. Al John Provido, RCJ, with Fr. Jessie Martirizar, RCJ delivering the homily.

The livestreamed liturgy was participated in by the seminary's daily mass-goers and some confreres from the nearby communities.

Send, O Lord, many and holy Vocations!

(Prescribed health protocols were observed, and the face masks were removed solely for picture-taking purposes.)
